Stanford AIMI participates in a coalition of advocates and advisors across 11 institutions led by the Computational Medicine Legal Accelerator (CMLA) at the University of Chicago that is committed to helping shape tools that address the legal process challenges.

CMLA has researched the pain points and delays in data sharing for computational medicine research for non-commercial purposes, and in collaboration with the coalition, has developed tools to help researchers and institutions expedite the review process involved with inter-institutional data sharing. These tools are customizable and designed to fit within the current knowledge sharing infrastructure of an institution while providing consistency from cross-institution collaboration.

If you are interested in participating in the coalition to shape tools that address the legal process challenges we identified in our user research, please contact CMLA@chicagobooth.edu.
