About:
Daniel Coelho de Castro is completing his PhD thesis on machine learning for medical imaging at Imperial College London, and is soon joining the Healthcare Intelligence team at Microsoft Research Cambridge. He is collaborating part-time with Kheiron Medical on a clinical data analysis project and has previously done a long research internship at Microsoft. Daniel has been working toward integrating clinical and demographic information into generative models of images, to derive causal insights at the population and individual levels. More generally, his research interests include causality and probabilistic modelling, with a focus on heterogeneous medical data.
