Abstract:

AiCare (https://aicare.co) is proud to present its first-generation cloud-enabled iOS (Apple Watch and iPhone) environment with machine learning interface to provide “Intelligent Home Care”. This innovation in artificial intelligence for home health provides precision health by monitoring and predicting clinical outcome to empower the patients who are in transition following discharge from urgent care, emergency room, clinic, or hospital to manage acute or chronic illnesses such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, cancer, stroke, infection, diabetic complication or post-surgical care. Today, home health has become the new norm. Our machine learning algorithms address this emergence of new healthcare delivery by integrating the measurement of each individual physical activity (PA) with biometric data to predict clinical outcome and send alert notification. Any deviation from each patient’s daily physical activity and biometric data is tracked in real-time 24/7. This clinically focused machine learning platform enables precision analysis and prediction of health condition to notify the patients or appropriate healthcare personnel. This technology is empowered by personalized big data to continue learning individual human behavior. Our platform offers an effective convergence of artificial intelligence and home care over internet-enabled mobile devices. This low-cost technology personalizes safety, understands physical activity, and integrates behavioral data to provide individualized care to promote health by integrating clinically proven telemedicine tool for patients and healthcare personnel.

About:

Phillip C. Yang is a Professor of Medicine (Cardiovascular Medicine) at the Stanford University School of Medicine. He directs the Cardiovascular Stem Cell Laboratory (Yang Lab) and Stanford Cardiothoracic MRI Program. Dr. Yang received degrees from Stanford University and Yale University School of Medicine, and completed post-graduate training at UCLA and Stanford University Medical Centers. Dr. Yang is a physician-scientist whose research interest focuses on clinical translation of the fundamental molecular and cellular processes of myocardial restoration. His research employs novel in vivo multi-modality molecular and cellular imaging technology to translate the basic innovation in pluriopotent stem cell biology. Novel intracellular molecules and organelles are discovered and studied for functional improvement. Dr. Yang is currently a PI on the NIH/NHLBI funded CCTRN UM1 grant, which is designed to conduct multi-center clinical trial on novel biological therapy. In addition, he is a PI on 3 NIH research grants, 1 CIRM grant, and leads 6 stem cell clinical trials. Currently, he is pioneering the Cardiovascular Regeneration Program at Stanford. Dr. Yang has been the recipient of several prestigious awards including NIH Career Development Award, NIH Career Enhancement Award, and NIH Patient Oriented Research.
