Main content start

Work on real-world health AI research with Stanford this summer

The Stanford Center for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Imaging (AIMI) is a global leader in advancing artificial intelligence research and its translation into healthcare. Spanning research, education, policy, and clinical implementation, AIMI brings together experts across medicine, computer science, engineering, and industry to develop and responsibly advance AI that can improve health and healthcare.

The AIMI Summer Research Internship gives high school students the opportunity to experience this rapidly evolving field firsthand. Through mentored, hands-on research, students build technical skills, work with real-world health data, and explore meaningful challenges at the intersection of AI and medicine. Along the way, they learn from and engage with the Stanford AIMI community while developing the skills, perspectives, and experience to pursue future work in health AI.
