Digital Poster Guidelines

File & Resolution

Prepare your poster as a single digital slide in 16:9 landscape format, matching the 85-inch display screens that the poster will be displayed on. For the sharpest results, create it at 3840 × 2160 pixels (4K UHD) or at least 1920 × 1080 pixels (Full HD), using a minimum of 150 dpi (300 dpi if working at 1920 × 1080). Save the final version as a PDF or high-resolution PNG; if you work in PowerPoint, export the slide to one of these formats to ensure fidelity.

Layout & Readability

Use large, clear fonts and maintain strong contrast between text and background so the content is easily legible on a large screen. Aim for a title size of roughly 80–100 pt, section headers of 50–60 pt, and body text of at least 28–36 pt. Keep the layout spacious by leaving adequate margins and white space between sections, and avoid overly busy or dark backgrounds that could reduce readability.
