Stanford Graduate Students & Clinical Trainees
Stanford graduate students who have experience in AI and medical imaging who would like to be considered for graduate student research assistant openings may submit an application here. Clinical trainees of all medical specialties who have experience in AI and are interested in collaborating on research projects are encouraged to contact us at aimicenter@stanford.edu
Student Interns
The AIMI Center has a limited number of unpaid internships for high school and undergraduate students who are interested in getting involved in AI research in medical imaging. Interested students who meet all the qualifications below are encouraged to submit an application here. Qualified students who make it to a second selection round will be given a small coding task to assess technical skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Enjoys coding and has significant Matlab or Python experience
- Understands basic machine learning concepts
- Completed basic calculus courses
- Interested in imaging analysis
- Able to attend research group meetings on the first and third Thursdays at 3pm (during school breaks)
- Able to commit at least 1 year
Visiting Scholars
We are happy to consider proposals from faculty and scientists in academia and industry who are interested in spending time as a Visiting Scholar with the AIMI Center in order to advance collaborative research projects. Visiting Scholars are required to be employed or appointed at another institution or organization throughout their visiting term. Funding support for Visiting Scholars is not available at this time.
