Call for Abstracts

To initiate healthy discussions and lasting change towards improved diversity in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics/Medicine), we are soliciting abstracts for 6-8 minute presentations about research and education related to diversity in STEM. Abstracts of all conference presentations and a summary of discussion points and insights provided by all conference participants will be published in WMIS Molecular Imaging & Biology.

Abstracts should focus on Diversity Research or Education, and address at least one of the following priority areas, as they relate to AI in Cancer Molecular Imaging:

  1. Racial Diversity in STEM
  2. Women in STEM
  3. Global Health

Abstracts are due May 20, 2022 at 11:59pm PT

  • Title
  • Authors
  • Purpose, Methods, Results, Conclusion (250 words max for each section)
  • Relevance to diversity in STEM (2-3 sentences)
  • References (up to 5)
  • Figure (1 figure max)
